Writer, word nerd, hippie, and process junkie extraordinaire, I started working for an international software company in 2004 and worked my way up the ranks into an exciting and ever-challenging role as a UX Content Specialist under the product development organization. I used to write user guides, product release notes, in-product content (micro-copy), and product help specifically for several software programs specializing in HR and payroll. Now I work with risk management software and develop training in addition to user guides, release notes, help sites, and micro-copy.
In my free time, I explore the lush landscapes of my home, Florida; I love the beaches, fresh-water springs, mangrove jungles, and coastal keys—for swimming, walking, canoeing, or whatever. I'm a weekend potter, specializing in wheel-thrown, cobalt-painted functional pieces (bowls, plates, vases, cups). I love to bake and cook. I play several instruments (piano, a little guitar, ukulele, accordion, bamboo flute, xylophone). And I love to travel—whenever and wherever possible.
I am inspired by human connection while living and breathing creativity.
