I’m not your everyday alien interpreter.
I’m Katrina, and I’m a specialized project manager at a Fortune 500 international technology manufacturer. In my past careers in technical writing and instructional design, I worked closely with software developers, product managers, software requirements analysts, and most importantly, software users. My job used to be to translate technical gobbledygook into practical, tangible, and consumable information. Today, I work in a legal department and specialize in anti-corruption prevention and education programs.
I’m also a Canadian living in Florida. Life is pretty good here, but I’m distinctly aware (and frequently reminded) of my foreignness. Perhaps my alienness is an asset when it comes to translating legalese into human language?
These are my stories and adventures.
